Does Your Hairstyle Make You Look Large?

Knowing what suits will make finding a style easy!
As most people are aware, not all hairstyles will look fantastic on you.

Studies show that it's not the shape of your body, but the shape of your face that will determine a great looking hairstyle, so when looking at cutting, styling and choosing a hairstyle, be sure that you ask your hairstylist a few simple questions:

1) what is my face shape?
2) what hairstyles should I stay away from?

If you choose the wrong hairstyle for your face shape, it could make your face look larger, therefore making yourself look larger over all.

Here are some tips on face shapes:

Oval - an ideal face shape that will suit almost any style.
Round - stay away from chin length cuts as you will add weight. Leaving the length will create a longer look.
Oblong - short cuts will add shape. Try side swept bangs.
Square - a bob cut will look great while adding more layers around the face will create a round look.
Heart - adds shape around the chin. Medium cuts look great.
Diamond - to create that oval look, cut round layers around the face.
Triangular - medium or short cuts look great, with plenty of layers around the top for a slim look.
