With everyday lives getting busier and busier it can be hard to keep on top of styling your hair and creating a different look for every event or occasion - especially if you've got multiple events on the same day!
But whether you're going to an event straight after a day in the office, or a busy day takes priority over getting ready for an evening out, it is possible to style your hair one way during the day and then pull off a quick hairstyle change to take your look from day to night in a flash.
Daytime Braids and Night time Straight Hair
This look requires you to style your strands straight. If your hair is naturally straight then you're already half way there. If not, pull out the hair straightener and get your locks as sleek as you can. If you don't have time during the day to get this done then try to squeeze in a hair straightening session the night before and then quickly run the irons back over your hair the next morning to flatten any strands that may have become kinked overnight. For your daytime look, add a nice casual braid across the front section of your hair and pin it back behind your ears. This will give you a fun look that will keep your hair out of your eyes.
For your nighttime look, unbraid your hair and then run your hair straightener over the front sections to get them straight again and then finish with some shine spray for a glossy sheen.
Daytime Straight Strands and Night time Hair Waves
For this option a mix up in hair texture creates two distinctive looks. The first is a straight look for the day which can be achieved with naturally straight hair, or hair that has been straightened with a hair straightener or a blow-dryer, a side hair part and some slight backcombing for a touch of volume.
For the nighttime look, loose hair waves have been added using a curling iron. To save on styling time you can try adding the waves using hair rollers instead as they can be applied to your hair and then left to cool while you get on with other things.
Daytime Loose Lengths and a Night time Updo
Sometimes a hairstyle change is as easy as pulling your hair back. For this option the daytime look requires the most styling. Simply style your hair into any texture you like (curly, wavy or straight) but leave it out and loose. If you have bangs (as pictured) then style them for your day look but ensure they can also be carried over to your nighttime look.
For your nighttime style, an easy updo that only requires you to take your already styled hair length and pin it up using hair pins will create a no-fuss hairstyle in minutes.
Daytime Natural Hair Texture and Night time Funky Texture
The final hairstyle change is for those who need an easy hairdo in less than 10 minutes. Your daytime look is all about letting your natural hair texture shine by simply just washing your hair, combing it and then letting it dry. Not only will this help to limit any hair damage that may be caused by heat styling, but it will also create an nice relaxed natural look.
For your nighttime look simply take some moulding cream, wax or hair gel and use it to add some funky texture to your locks. Piecey strands can look good in any hair length and add plenty of interest without a lot of effort.
