Riley Lai Nelet has changed how we view mid-length bobs and we are loving it! Riley has curled her hair. This has allowed the bob to have volume and gives off the illusion that her hair is fuller than it really is. Choose a curling iron that fits the size of your curls. Working from the top layers of hair down, curl parts one at a time. Not every portion should be curled; only a few "showcase" pieces should be. As each part of hair cools, flip it to the side you intend to wear it on; this technique adds lift at the roots. Lifting the hair as you apply the hairspray will ensure that you get the mist everywhere.

Riley does not have a lot of makeup in this look. You can either go with her makeup approach and just apply some eyeliner to your lids and the inner corner of your eyes if you have the same eye shape. Finish off with a matte, nude color like Riley has, and you have this look down to a fine art. If you do not want to follow these steps, you can add some color to your eyelids and a pop of glitter, and you are ready to take on your day!
